New Hope Community Church is serious about missions! In February of 2007, our entire church participated in our second mission trip to Pignon Haiti. Our goal was to build benches for students to use in the 7 schools/churches that we have helped build. The trip was a blessing both to those who went, and to the many who participated with their prayers and financial support. Below are some of the pictures of the trip.

Our work project was to make 80 benches for the school children of Pignon and the surrounding areas.

With lumber shipped from the US, the team sawed the legs and supports of the benches.

Kaye and Janell sand the benches with lots of help from the local children.

The team finished 72 benches before leaving Pignon. They are currently being used all around the area.
