"Worthy is the Lamb"
by Rev. Kirby Williams
Heaven's Glorious Adoration of the Lamb
Text: Revelations 5:8-14
Date: 03/07/2010, the Evening service.
Series: "Revelation" Part 14
After the Lamb of God is found to be worthy to take the scroll that God holds in his right hand, a celebration breaks out in heaven that is perhaps the most glorious example of heavenly adoration and praise in Scripture. The Lamb is found to be infinitely worthy, and is praised in equal status with God the Father. The praise starts with the four living creatures and the 24 elders, then spreads to the countless angels surrounding them, and ultimately to all of Creation. How privileged we are to witness this great event and add our voices to those of Creation when they shout to the Triune God, "blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!"
