New Hope Community Church is serious about our youth. Programs have been designed for both fellowship and growth in God's Word. We have two groups: one for middle school age (6th thru 8th grade) and one for senior high (9th thru 12th grade). If you are a student in Fort Lauderdale, then we want to meet you! Come and join us for fun, fellowship and spiritual growth.

  • Wednesday Night Youth Group
    7:00pm - 8:30pm

If you are a student between 6th and 12th grades (or the equivalent), then we'd love to have you join our youth group. Under the expert guidance of Shelly Waltman and Stefani Kauffman, this youth group is all about making a difference. They grow intellectually through weekly Bible studies, socially by tackling projects in the community, and spiritually by understanding God's call on their life. Some members of this group went on the church-wide missions trip to Haiti this year and others will participate in our mission trip to Cherokee, N.C. Come and join us!

  • Sunday School
    10:15am - 11am

Starting in September, both youth groups will combine for youth Sunday School, designed to address the burning questions that young people have concerning God, religion in general, the culture, and where they fit in God's kingdom. This year we will be involved with various studies designed to help students clarify, defend and share their faith in a post-modernist world.

  • Senior High Missions Trips
    February Trip To Pignon, Haiti

Last February, some of the older members of our youth group took a mission trip to the tiny village of Pignon, Haiti for the second year in a row. There they built benches to be used in schools for impoverished children. Read more about their trip.

  • Middle School Missions Trips
June Trip to Salt Lake City

In June, middle school-aged members of our youth group took a mission trip to Salt Lake City, where they helped a sister church evangelize Mormon neighborhoods. The young people learned the foundations of what missions is all about, as well as making an impact in Salt Lake City. Read more about their trip.
