Description:

As we move into a new chapter, John with just a few words will skip over the rest of Jesus' Galilean ministry and prepare us for His return to Jerusalem. But before Jesus leaves Galilee, we will see yet another example of the unbelief that surrounded His ministry-- this time from his own half-brothers. In the process, Jesus will reveal the sharp difference between His relationship to time and that of His brothers. We will learn how closely aligned to His Father's will the seasons of Jesus' life were and therefore how utterly significant every "frame" of His life was. In sharp contrast, we will see how insignificant the earthbound pursuits of His brothers were. Ultimately we will learn that the times and seasons of our own lives are significant only to the degree they are aligned with the will of God and the advancement of the Kingdom of Heaven-- and thereby truly pursue significant time.
