Description:

As the powerful story of Jesus' healing of the man born blind continues, we come upon the actual event of the healing. We will notice that it is a strange healing indeed and analyze what the meaning of the "spittle and the dust" and the "pool of Siloam" might be. Ultimately we will find in this story a beautiful illustration of the Gospel and the process of coming to faith. We will find all five of the "solas" of the Reformation clearly embedded in the message of this story, as the Light of Life skips across the Living Waters and enters the soul of this man born blind. As a result, we will all bear witness to the dayspring at the pool of Siloam.
