Description:

As our study of the allegory of the Good Shepherd continues, Jesus exponentially expands the scope of the allegory by revealing that Israel is not the only sheepfold from which His sheep will be called. But rather that He has sheepfolds all over the world, and that the Kingdom of Heaven will be comprised of a diversified collection of sheep from every conceivable background. As we analyze the text, our discussion will focus on the missiological and predestinarian nature of the verse, but also with the critical need that is created for unity in such a diverse Kingdom. We will find the solution to unifying the one flock of the Kingdom in the utter fixation on the One Shepherd of the Kingdom-- Jesus the Christ who is the unifying force that holds His church together.
