Description:

In this Missions-oriented meditation we will consider the concept of the "unintentional missionary". Using Daniel and other great Old Testament saints as our models we will discover that not all missionaries are intentional-- meaning that they do not set out with the intention of being missionaries but rather through circumstances are either called or forced into a missionary situation. Daniel is a prime example of this due to his forced slavery in Babylon. By looking at his life and the profound impact he had on two of the great empires of the ancient world (Babylon and Persia) we will gain valuable insight into how we too might become unintentional missionaries.
