Description:

In this Easter Sunday Evening meditation, we will consider Christ's role as the Prince of Peace and Mediator of a Peace treaty between God and humanity. While looking at the various events of His Passion Week, we will find Jesus accomplishing the various elements necessary for establishing a treaty for peace. Using Zechariah's amazing prophecy as a backdrop, we will see how Christ during the week made a gesture for peace, established the terms of peace, satisfied those terms as a peace offering, and finally was the sign that God had accepted and sealed the treaty. We will end this glorious day by simply basking in the fading light of this Easter Sunday and praising our merciful Lord for His extravagant plan of salvation and his Easter Treaty of Peace!
