A closer look at Jeremiah's hope in the attributes of God.

In this "Missions Emphasis Week" message, we will take a closer look at Jeremiah's hope in the attributes of God-- but from a very different perspective. After a short exposition of the text, we will approach these attributes in the same way they are taught in our leadership seminars in Haiti. The emphasis will be on Scripture and what it tells us about God and His character. We will focus on just the attributes Jeremiah includes in our text from Lamentations: love, mercy and faithfulness. But in the process several other attributes will be discussed such as His eternality, His immutability, His justness, and His forgiveness. This will be a most interesting study for anyone who loves Scripture, loves to read it, and loves to meditate on the nature and character of God!
